Philosophy, Science, and Revelation (1219 Words)

Since the apostasy, Philosophy and Science have battled for control, ignoring Revelation. Through the apostasy people were ruled over by Philosophers, until the people got fed up with being oppressed, and rebelled. The people debunked oppressive traditions with Science, but everyone has totally forgotten about Revelation.

The word “dogma” has nothing to do with the mother of a dog (dog-ma, …get-it), …that would be a bitch- a female dog, wolf, fox, or otter (not being crude, but that just goes to show you how what might seem obvious may not be so obvious. Besides I never thought that I’d ever use the word bitch). Dogma is a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as “incontrovertibly true.” This sets the stage for the battle of the renaissance (1400 AD-1800AD).

Philosophy represented “religion,” and held the power over the perceptions of people’s minds for over a thousand years. Catholic Priests leaned toward the teachings of philosopher Aristotle, who defined God by stating what he knew that God wasn’t (or at least thought he knew). For example, we can’t say that God exists, all we can safely say is that God is not nonexistent, …or we should not say that God is wise, but we can say that God is not ignorant. They defined God by saying what He isn’t, rather than knowing what He is. The Priest was considered the mouth piece of God, and could expound the scriptures, making the translation “incontrovertibly true,” …and none could refute, despite that they were wrong. Priests settled the matter by stating their authority, and pounded in their stakes to make their claims.

The argument that has discredited religion, in favor of science, was based upon the reading of the scriptures. Priest’s claimed that their authority gave them power to expound the scriptures. They used their authority to expound scripture, claiming, the Bible says that the Earth is the center of the universe. This perspective was labeled Geocentric, or Earth-centeric. However, scientist Galileo, read the same scriptures a little differently than the Priests. He stated that the Bible could be read to express an Earth point of view, and nothing more. And then Galileo turned his telescope to the sun, moon, and stars, proving that Earth wasn’t the center of the universe. Priest’s, rather than repenting and fixing where they were wrong, they cast out Galileo’s theory, and called it heresy.  Today, it is common knowledge that the Priest’s were wrong, and Galileo was right, proving that a priest’s authority doesn’t control the correct understanding of scriptures. Scientists have used this case to support that there is no God, …only the natural laws of science. The battle between Philosophy and Science continues, as no one pays much attention to revelation. God has become an argument between religionists and scientists, who have never been in God’s presence.

Revelation flies under the radar of the brightest minds, only appearing in simple men like Abraham, Moses, Joseph Smith, etc. The philosophy’s of men mingled with scripture has never produced the presence of God. And despite the sophistication of machines, computers, and programming, scientists have never blasted off into outer space, to place an American flag in the presence of God either. Yet, we occupy most of our lives trying to balance between Philosophy and Science, never knowing God, never ascending, remaining cast out of His presence, rather than returning. Revelation is available to all, if they would receive it.

To receive it, revelation requires a pure heart, and purity is always tested. The veil is over our senses, not over our feelings. The heart governs feelings or desires. As our desires are to God, our hearts become purer, and our feelings can lead our actions, until our senses catch up. Revelation grows from feelings, to hearing, to seeing, to touch, etc. The scriptures refer to the heart as being the source of healing the deaf (those who cannot hear the Lord’s voice), the blind (those who cannot see His face and know that He is), and the lame (those who cannot walk back into His presence). All of it refers to revelation.

There is only one revelation, and it is the unveiling of God, the source of all light. The heart’s purity must be tested at every step, before more revelation will be given. The purification-work to hear the Lord’s voice is the effort we give to study the scriptures. The test comes, when a servant speaks with the voice of the Lord, disguised as a stranger, a bum on the street, or a son/brother, …can you hear the voice of the Lord and act? Acting upon His voice produces another test, as the Lord requires your actions to go against the logic and understanding of the world. For instance: Abraham sacrificing Isaac, Joseph being sold into slavery, the brother of Jared crossing the ocean, Moses parting the Red Sea, Lehi/Nephi leaving Jerusalem, etc.  Each of their hearts were tested at a higher degree, and the revelation they received matched. Ultimately, all of them offered all things on the sacrificial altar. Rather than a symbolic offering, a son or daughter of God must offer all things on the sacrificial altar, in exchange for walking back, for ascending, for the final unveiling, the one revelation, the unveiling of the source of all light, walking back into the presence of God.

Conclusion: Zion is a people who are of one heart and one mind, with no poor among them. I am certain that we have hearts of great potential. But our hearts are stuck on the things of this world, following after the traditions of men (philosophies of men mingled with scripture), depending upon science for our conveniences, that our efforts to balance our lives between philosophy and science have left our family outside of the presence of God!

The presence of God doesn’t remove the problems of the world, it offers a completely different paradigm that makes the problems of the world so insignificant, and produces power to overcome the world by faith. Moses’ problems with Egypt never disappeared, but God parted the Red Sea. Enoch’s problems never disappeared, but the city of Enoch was taken up. Noah’s problems never disappeared, but within the ark Noah was preserved. Moses, Enoch, and Noah had a paradigm shift by entering into the presence of the Lord. That has been available to all who would have a pure heart, hear the voice of the Lord, see His face, and walk back into His presence.

You have been invited to the wedding feast. You must have on a wedding garment, or else be bound hand and foot and thrown out. The sign in the heaven on Sept 23, 2017 is the sign of Jupiter and Virgo, crowned with a crown of 12 stars, standing on the moon, clothed in the sun. Symbolically, it refers to the family of God, built upon revelation (moon = wisdom or revelation), clothed in the robes of light (the sun), crowned with the glory of the heavens (12 star constellations represented by a 12 star crown).

We are required to see the things we learned in the temple as instructions. We must receive those instructions and find our way back. We must access the power of our family to do the work of knowing the words of Christ. Lets work!

By The Same Spirit (1579 Words)

Traditions aren’t as easy to break free from when you don’t know that they are there. Once you know that they exist, the escape route is hard to find, because you honestly can’t tell what is true or what is tradition. The way to get through to the heavens, without being dependent upon the arm of flesh, is to study the scriptures By The Same Spirit that they were written in.

Trap of Tradition: Traditions aren’t as easy to break free from when you don’t know that they even exist. This was a huge breakthrough for me, as I have been taught practically all my childhood life to follow the leader, conform to the institution, and don’t step outta-line. The teaching was a subtle corporate teaching, and began in primary, singing, “Do as I’m Doing, Follow, Follow Me.” We moved from clapping our hands, to patting our heads, to repetitive testimony-bearing, to haircuts and acceptable church dress attire, to seminary “scripture mastery,” to serving missions using memorized catch-phrases, …finally, into becoming “The Leader.” From primary we were conditioned to beg to be the leader, …but as an adult, you actually had the sustaining vote of hundreds of members, to confirm you as the leader. As the leader, you encourage singing “Follow the Prophet,” because your position as a ward or stake leader only exists through the sustaining of the Prophet, and to debunk a Prophet’s authority is to remove all power in your own authority. And now we are in a pickle, aren’t we? The scriptures contradict this thinking, saying, don’t trust in the arm of flesh, don’t make the arm of flesh your arm, so we make the justification that when a prophet speaks, it’s as if God is speaking, therefore trusting in a Prophet isn’t trusting in the arm of flesh, …so “…Follow the Prophet, he holds all the keys.” This is what is meant by being left to kick against the pricks and fight against the saints (D&C 121). Traditions are so well hidden, until something opens your eyes to see it, you could go your entire life not recognizing that someone lied to you!

Escape Route: However, once you know that these false traditions exist in you, the escape route is still hard to find. Depending on how old you are when you discovered these false traditions, you may have built your entire life, centered on those traditions, amassing your wealth upon it’s principles, accumulating treasures in the earth, raising your children, grand children, and great grand children the same way, …thus, making uncovering greater truths, contradicting your successful traditions, seem embarrassing, destructive, and impossible!!! In this condition of in-between, you honestly can’t tell what is true or what is tradition. Even scripture study is painted with the brush strokes of an institution, such that you cannot seem to see any other way to interpret them, other than the way the institution has drilled it into you. In this case, the advantage goes to the children. Children haven’t been deeply rooted in the ideas of the world, making it easier for them to change from deeply rooted traditions because they aren’t so deeply rooted. But change to what???

Christ’s atonement is the only Escape Route! When you finally wake up to the awful situation by which you are bound, …then you will realize that Christ is the only one you can trust to know what to change into and how to make the change. The Lord said you must become precisely what He is; you must be Christ. Lectures on Faith teaches that Christ is the prototype of a saved being. Scriptures teach that when you see Christ, you will know Him, because you will be like Him. He performed the atonement, so He understands who you are and the difficulties you face, …because He has overcome them all. Thus, His role as savior is to do the saving. And He hires no one for that job (2 Nephi 9:41). But, you must first believe in Him.

When you begin to believe in Christ’s ability to repair you, that is when you start believing in the atonement, and can begin your journey with Him because He is the only one who atoned. The journey takes time. It starts slow, but gains momentum, and produces in abundance! A summary of what you will be progressing through is found in the seven beatitudes, presented in order:

  1. Poor in Spirit
  2. Mourn
  3. Meek
  4. Hunger & Thirst after Righteousness
  5. Mercy
  6. Pure in Heart
  7. Peace Makers.

I’ll not go through them here, but each step is accumulative, so you never check it off! Instead, you get added unto. When you have endured through one step, naturally, you will be introduced to the next step, …which will introduce new challenges in both the next step and the first combined. By the time you have accomplished the seventh step (Peacemaker), no one will need to tell you how Poor in Spirit you really are, because you already know!

Philosophers, scholars and church authorities will try to convince you that they know the answer for your life. Those awake to the awful situation will quickly realize that they all sound like confusion, static, and noise. Every man is exactly what the scriptures have identified as “the arm of flesh.” Then how the hell are we supposed to begin the journey if we can’t trust men in the flesh? Aren’t prophets supposed to be trusted to tell the truth? Aren’t they men in the flesh? NO, we don’t trust prophets, we hearken to them, and then we trust The Spirit to teach us the truth of all things. We never trust in the arm of flesh. We seek The Spirit of God!

The Spirit Leads: The way to get through to the heavens, without being dependent upon the arm of flesh, is to study the scriptures By The Same Spirit that they were written in. Right away, you must develop the skill of receiving revelation. It is revelation that is supposed to grow in you. Anyone can read the scriptures, and many have, without the Spirit of Revelation. Reading this way will not produce the promised results. Church authority, academia, ancient literature, languages, and credentials cannot understand the scriptures without The Same Spirit that animated the author who wrote it. They have no advantage over the Poor in Spirit, the farm boy, the child, and the unlearned. The opposite is true, those who are Poor in Spirit, a humble farm boy, a meek child, and a mourning unlearned man has far greater advantage to know the scriptures By The Same Spirit.

The world would teach you otherwise. But, when was the last time you took a college course producing an ascension? When have you been taught by your clergy priesthood authority how to see the Lord face to face in the flesh? When did academic achievement in literature, languages, and worldly credentials produce your calling and election sure? On the other hand, Abraham was Poor in Spirit. Joseph who was sold into Egypt was too. Joseph Smith had the heavens opened to him. None of them trusted in the arm of flesh, but all of them read the words of Christ By The Same Spirit that they were written in, …and each one walked into the presence of Christ in the flesh, was redeemed from the fall, and had the heavens opened and accessible to them. That’s a good place to begin our journey with Christ!

Conclusion: The journey with Christ begins when you realize only He has the power to save you from your state of darkness, ignorance, and death. When you wake up to this, the first step is to pray and study the words of Christ in scripture By The Same Spirit that they were written in. Revelation will grow within you, until you are at-one-with-Christ, being redeemed from the fall, brought back into His presence, and crowned with glory and power.

Begin your journey now while the waters are still gentle, before the floods. Enter the ark before the rains begin falling, and your time for preparation has past. Noah was merciful when he didn’t allow others in the ark. The ark is a covenant. Allowing people in the ark who weren’t prepared required that they take a covenant that they weren’t able to keep. If they entered, and later broke the covenant, not only would they loose their physical life, but they would become perdition, loosing their ETERNAL LIFE.

Accepting a covenant cannot be taken lightly. It requires the preparation of both heart and mind so that you keep the covenant, and benefit from the blessings of it’s protection in the darkness ahead. Work in the scriptures, By The Same Spirit that they were written in, is absolutely necessary before accepting a covenant and entering the ark. Together, many hands make light work, …so lets work together. In Zion, it will be merciful to refuse entry for the same reason as it was merciful for Noah to deny entry into the ark. In the coming times of darkness, Zion will be the only protection.

Men, step up, by providing and protecting. Provide your family with the necessary light in the words of Christ. Offer your family the protection of God, refusing to trust in the arm of flesh! Be filled with The Same Spirit that animated all sons of God, all patriarchal fathers,  …precisely the same Spirit that Christ shares with the Father. Be at-one-with-THEM!

Faith is Required (1333 Words)

From the time of Adam, until now, the same Faith is Required. In the story of Lehi’s family, we learn that every person will follow one of two patterns of faith. What pattern will you choose to follow?

From Adam until now, the test is the same, and passing the test requires the same faith, …even great faith. As God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, …faith grows exactly the same then, as it does now, and as it will in the future. The reason scriptures matter so much is because the faith required of ancient saints is precisely the same faith required of modern saints. The pattern of Nephi’s faith is not restricted to church leaders. It is a pattern meant for each individual who has eyes that see, and ears that hear, male or female, from the least to the greatest, to apply. We know the story, but consider the summary anyway.

In the story of Lehi’s family, we learn that every person will follow one of two patterns of faith. Either you can choose to grow your faith as Nephi did, until you enter into the presence of the Lord in the flesh, …or you can ignore the words of Christ, and follow the pattern of Laman and Lemuel’s faith. The scriptures are funny in that you exercise faith by studying it, or you reject the Book of Mormon by giving heed to it. Likewise with a covenant, those who receive it must say and do it. But those who reject the covenant only need pay it no attention. Consider the two options in the lives of brothers.

Nephi is a good person, like all of you. His father, Lehi, was cast out of the Jewish church (the apostate Mormons of their day), being threatened to be stoned to death. It took a certain degree of faith for Nephi to retrieve the plates from the leader of the church (Laban), with the threat of possibly loosing his life, looming overhead. The faith necessary for Nephi to acquire the plates had to exceed the faith of his three older brothers, waiting outside the city walls.

You gotta wonder what’s going through their minds, as they are left all alone in the wilderness, dad being excommunicated, Nephi cutting off the head of Laban, and literally stealing the plates. By common law, Nephi’s hands should be cut off for stealing, and he should be killed for murdering, and tortured for murdering a church leader, to boot. Lehi is also guilty of the same crimes because he was the one behind all of it. Laman and Lemuel wouldn’t go to the same extreme to retrieve the plates, having insufficient faith. But, they logically and rationally battled within themselves, trying to decide if they shouldn’t be the ones to execute the law of the land, by killing their father and younger brother. Their false traditions of unbelief, established by the Jewish church, were so deeply engrained, that they would die for it. Or in this case, Laman and Lemuel wouldn’t kill their church leaders, but they would kill their brother and father, to defend their false traditions of unbelief.

When Lehi told his family of his dream, Nephi’s faith went through another growth spurt, as we find Nephi struggling at the base of the mountain, pondering and wanting to know what his father was trying to tell them in his dream. Nephi knew that he believed all the words of his father, despite Lehi being badly rejected of the commonly acceptable church, …but to Nephi, knowing his dad knew it wasn’t enough! He sought to know for himself, and because of that, an angle did visit him. It was an angel of the highest degree. It was “The Great Angel,” even Jesus Christ. The tile “Lord Sabaoth” literally means Lord of the hosts of heaven, …anciently: “The Great Angel.”

Laman and Lemuel, although they went into the wilderness with Lehi, failed to lay hold upon the words of Christ for themselves. Their faith failed them when retrieving the plates. Their faith failed them as they sought to kill their father and brother. Their faith failed them in hunger. Their faith failed them crossing the ocean. And their faith failed them when they separated their families, passing on their ignorance many generations after them. They wouldn’t read for themselves, using the excuse that God makes no such thing known to them. They rejected the words of Christ, not by doing something to the records, …but by simply not reading them, not seeking diligently to understand them. Because they rejected the words of Christ, they found legitimate reason to rebel against a servant of Christ in their family members, …in their father and in their little brother. You would think that because they were family, they would have had an advantage because they knew the hearts of their father and brother. But being related to the prophet served as no advantage because of their lack of faith. Having rejected the words of Christ, and the servant of Christ was sufficient to communicate to God and His witnesses that they also rejected Christ Himself.

The faith of Nephi is a pattern available to all of us, if we have eyes to see, and ears to hear. We understand the physical odds facing Nephi when he retrieved the plates. We too must face physical odds as did Nephi. However, the growth of Nephi’s faith to believe in and acquire his personal witness of Christ was far greater than the physical odds of retrieving the plates. After Nephi had a personal witness of Christ, Nephi is able to endure far greater trials, doing precisely what is asked of him by the Lord, even when his father’s faith failed him with hunger, his brothers tie him to the mast of the ship, and eventually try to kill him, his wife, and his children. Nephi’s faith wasn’t dependent on any man, not his father, and not a prophet, …because he knew Christ for himself.

There are two patterns that everyone on earth must choose: accept or reject the words of Christ. To reject, nothing is required of you. God assumes rejection by the absence of acceptance. There are two doctrines being pitched in this world. Their are two ways. There are two masters. In the story of Lehi’s family, there are two patterns of faith expressed. Which pattern are you going to follow?

Conclusion: From the time of Adam, until now, the same Faith is Required. No one can take your place on the judgement seat, but Christ. Only He has atoned for you. He will redeem you from the fall if you do not reject Him. Doing nothing is the same as rejecting Him. No one can do the work of accepting for you. You must do it if you want it, otherwise you are rejecting your redemption. No one can substitute for your labor of diligently searching (seeing) the words of Christ. No one can do the hearing of the voice of the Lord through the servant of Christ. And no one can enter into the presence of Christ in your place.

The times might change. Circumstances might be unique to our day. People may differ from persecutors in the past. But the same Faith is Required for all men to be redeemed from the fall. Receive the covenant by taking seriously the words of Christ, and you will not see me so offensive. Instead you will recognize the words I speak align with the words of Christ in the scriptures. When you do, you will naturally hear the false traditions of unbelief that has been filling your empty minds for so long, taking the place where truth should reside. In order for truth and light to accumulate, foolish traditions of unbelief must be removed. They cannot co-exist. You must choose this day, and every day, from here on out who you will serve, …and then act like it!

Treasures in the Heavens (1036 Words)

As there are only two masters, you must choose where you lay up your treasures. Institutions lay up treasures on earth. But the Lord recommends laying up Treasures in the Heavens.

There are only two masters. You must choose where you will invest (lay-up your treasures). Christ prophesied that you will either love the one and hate the other, or else you will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and mammon (3 Nephi 13:24). Your agency requires that you judge. If you must judge, you had better know one from the other. Ignorance will produce a false expectation, deceiving you into thinking you are investing in heaven, when in reality you are too busy accumulating treasures on the earth that you don’t have the time for the things of the heavens. Just for clarity the choice is between two masters, God and mammon. Mammon is the Hebrew word, both ancient and modern, meaning “dealing in money.” God can be loved, and dealing in money (mammon) can be hated. You cannot truly love money, …you can only hold tightly to it. It is not possible to hate God, as He is what gives all things life, but when you cling to money, you can despise Him. One thing is certain, you cannot serve both God and mammon. This concepts eludes us all, as we are all institutionalized into thinking that we cannot survive without money. And Satan leads us into further ignorance with a flaxen cord and a bruised heal, believing we can find security buying things with money. However, God has a plan, and His plan is the good news that will free you from bonds of captivity, providing you the power to crush Satan’s head, if we will hearken to His words. The choice is yours, but the options are mutually exclusive. You must choose one or the other, you cannot have both:

D&C 6:7

“7. Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.”

Seeking for wisdom provides the mysteries of God, which are the Treasures in the Heavens. The Lord instructs us to NOT seek for riches. That makes them mutually exclusive. You cannot do both.

Treasures on earth are described as something that moth and rust can corrupt, or that a thief can break through and steal. These are all things that are tangible, where the law of entropy, chaos, and disorder governs. As I get older, my joints (knees, elbows, and shoulders) bear testimony that even our flesh is earthly treasure. Cain slew Abel and became master Mahan. After a while, nearly all of Adam’s children “loved Satan more than God” (Moses 5:13). Satan is the founder of the Mahan School of Economics, where, …instead of free gifts given by God, …Satan replaces it with bargains, earnings, percentages, options, returns, markets, investments, and deals, …that totally deny the free gifts from God. Savings accounts, retirements, etc. depend on money because the hearts of men have run cold, and if you have no savings or retirement plan, when you cannot provide for yourself, no one else will. The accumulation of wealth in real estate holdings, businesses, and investments is a vote of no-confidence in God, investing in the treasures of the earth. But, the condition of our institutionalized minds have plagued us into depending upon the treasures of the earth, at the cost of loosing the Treasures in the Heavens. Surrounding our institutions exists a stratified population of extreme rich and poor. All the money in the world cannot produce no poor among us. We have been deceived, and must repent and return.

The Lord teaches us how to invest in Treasures in the Heavens. He tells us about the worth of souls, and how it is great in the sight of God. He also teaches that it is His work and glory, bringing to past the immortality and eternal life of man. But what about the bills, the food, the clothing, and the shelter. When we begin to remember the words of Christ, then we can receive the free gifts from God, accumulating Treasures in the Heavens. Those treasures cannot erode or corrupt. None can break through and steal it. Our bodies are also promised to be renewed. Satan has used a bruised heal to lead us with a small flaxen cord, into bondage and captivity, …using a very effective tool called ignorance. For those wondering about how we are to live, eat, and have protective shelter, the Lord says, “…consider the fowls of the air and the lilies of the field.” Adam worked in the garden, but the fruit was spontaneous. We must work, but lunch is without price, …it’s free. Those who successfully drop out of the Mahan School of Economics can go without purse or script, can buy milk and honey, without gold, without price. The Lord’s model only works when the words of Christ are a strong enough a foundation to build upon. Only then can the Lord lead His people out of bondage and captivity, replacing the Mahan School of Economics with a garden of Eden.

Conclusion: The covenant to become God’s people is now offered to all who will hear the voice of the Lord and receive it. It is not in the LDS church, as they have chosen to accumulate treasures that erode and corrupt, and thieves can steal. They have chosen to invest in the earth, and poverty surrounds them, while the Treasures in the Heavens escape them. You have a chance to remove your ignorance, to be freed from bondage and captivity, by seeking diligently the Treasures in the Heavens, in the words of Christ. You cannot serve two masters. The options are not mutually exclusive. The lukewarm are spit out. The covenant being offered is free. It does not require your tithes to receive it. It does not require your loyalty to officers to receive it. It does not require any religious affiliation to receive it. However, it does require work, study, prayer, in the words of Christ, and then doing as you believe.

The Road to Emmaus (633 Words)

Two disciples on The Road to Emmaus arrogantly attempted to teach Christ of His own crucifixion and life. They heard of the empty tomb, but weren’t sure if they believed the testimony of the women who witnessed it. Only through their own experience with Christ, were the disciples on The Road to Emmaus able to bear testimony of Christ themselves.

Two disciples traveled on The Road to Emmaus. The setting of the event is, It’s the third day, after Christ’s crucifixion. Christ disguised Himself, so that they would not recognize who He was, by appearance alone. He simply inserted Himself into the conversation, acting as if He knew nothing of His own crucifixion, and asked, “What are you talking about?” He allowed the two disciples to educate Him about what He had lived through Himself. They reproved the disguised Christ for knowing nothing of the importance of Jesus their Christ. They heard rumors from women of the tomb being empty, but they weren’t sure of it all themselves. As they walked and talked, the disguised Christ unfolded scripture to them, expounded it, gave them greater clarity of what it all meant of Christ and His life. When they arrived, Christ pretended that Emmaus wasn’t His final destination and that He was going further, but they begged Him to stay. The disguised Christ broke bread and blessed it, and their eyes were opened, and then He vanished. The testimony of the disciples changed once their eyes were opened.

Luke 24:28-34

“28. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

29. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

30. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

31. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

32. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

33. And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

34. Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.”

It was a personal experience with Christ, that opened the eyes of the disciples, removing their scales of darkness from their eyes, to know Christ themselves. It was insufficient for someone else to witness the empty tomb, and witness seeing an angel. The experience necessarily needed to be personal, and not second hand. The disciples heard of the empty tomb, but weren’t sure if they believed the testimony of the women who witnessed it, claiming to have been visited by angels. Only through their own experience with Christ, were the disciples able to bear testimony of Christ themselves.

Conclusion: You can defend your position of ignorance, trying to persuade me that church leaders are marred for Christ’s sakes because of my comments in opposition to institutionalism. That’s your choice if you want to believe that. If you do, you really don’t understand what I am saying, nor do you understand the scriptures. Besides, I don’t really think that they care what I say anyway.

What you have attributed to my bashing, criticism, mocking, etc. is my disapproval of institutionalization. I testify of knowing the words of Christ, in opposition to institutionalism. You would prefer someone else witness Christ for you. I testify of your personal potential to have a one on one relationship with Christ. But, your insecurities lash out, defending your current position as immovable. If you know everything, how will you ever learn?

Arrested Sacrifice (1149 Words)

The lion couch in facsimile #1 offers valuable information of an acceptable sacrifice. Some sacrifices requires the offering of a life, but for others, an Arrested Sacrifice is provided. The test results in the same outcome, whether you die or an Arrested Sacrifice is provided, it is the weighing of the heart against truth.

Look at facsimile #1 in the Book of Abraham. The person being sacrificed is on a lion-couch. The Egyptian name for the lion is sekhmet, and she is a lioness. In Hebrew her name is Ariel, the lion of God (El). Upon the lion altar is an acceptable offering, so the lion is smiling, and wagging her tail. The person on the altar is Osiris. The bird above the head of Osiris, is Horus. Osiris is the name of Christ in the flesh. Horus is the name of Jehovah (Yahweh) or the heavenly depiction of the Lord. Horus/Osiris refers to the same person, in different states: in a body of spirit and a body tabernacled in the flesh. Facsimile #1 is a story of Christ’s sacrifice. Down below the altar are four canopic jars, representing all of creation. And below them are layers of the underworld, where the crocodile awaits all unworthy travelers. Those who pass the crocodile pass through twelve gates with sufficient knowledge to pass the angels at those gates, who stand as sentinels guarding them. It is a pattern that all acceptable sacrifices must pass through, whether or not you are offered or an Arrested Sacrifice provides a substitute.

Some sacrifices requires the offering of a life, but for others, an Arrested Sacrifice is provided. The story of Abraham offering his son Isaac is a perfect example. In the most common story, a ram in the thicket is found when Abraham is stopped by an angel, just before plunging the knife into his son. The ram is the Arrested Sacrifice. A sacrifice was required, but the ram represented Christ’s atonement as a substitute for the offered life of Isaac. However, as a token, circumcision was required, representing a symbolic blood offering, cutting the crown of the head of a king. For a woman, her virginity represented a symbolic blood offering, rather than requiring the loss of their lives. Every sacrificial offering represented the Arrested Sacrifice taking the place of the one making the offering. Just as in facsimile #1, the ultimate sacrifice is Horus/Osiris, none other than Christ. All Arrested Sacrifices symbolically represent Christ’s atoning sacrifice, so that you can repent, and He pays the price in your place.

The test results in the same outcome, whether you die or an Arrested Sacrifice is provided, it is the weighing of the heart against truth. Some sacrifices are only forged in the loss of life, like Isaiah who was rolled in a carpet and sawn in half with a  wood saw. Others like Abinidai who was burned to death by King Noah and the wicked priests required nothing less than his life. However, Isaac and Nephi’s life was spared by an Arrested Sacrifice. Isaac’s substitute was the ram in the thicket, while Nephi’s was the head of king Laban. Here is the point: It doesn’t matter to any of Christ’s servants, whether or not an Arrested Sacrifice is provided, or they lost their life bearing testimony. That is the totally up to the Lord. All of them offered “the same thing,” …they offered all things, not even sparing their lives. They put it all on the altar. All true disciples, no matter what dispensation of time you live in, must face the very same test, …your hearts must be weighed in your offering, to determine in whom you’ve trusted.

John 15:14-24

“14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

17. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

18. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

21. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

22. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

23. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

24. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.”

Conclusion: All are judged by one person. It is the same person who has performed your atonement. You guessed it, the judge is Christ alone! He is the only one qualified to judge the matter, as He is the only one who paid the full price.

However, what you will be judged on is your choices. In ignorance, judgement is very lenient. Verse 22 says that if Christ didn’t speak to them, the ignorant wouldn’t be guilty of sin. Ignorance in this case means those who haven’t heard Christ’s words from Him or His servants. Verse 20 clarifies that if they reject Christ’s servant, it is the same as rejecting Christ, and rejecting the Father. For if people accept Christ’s servant’s teachings, they would accept Christ’s teachings. But, if they persecute Christ’s servants, they would persecute Christ too. Those that persecute Christ hate both Him and His father.

You are accountable to recognize the voice of the Lord, whether by His own voice, or by His servants, it is the same. Question is, can you recognize the voice of the Lord in the words of His servant? You can answer that question to yourself, because only you will be accountable to recognize Christ’s word. Familiarity with the words of Christ offers an enormous advantage. Feast upon those words. Take these things seriously. It’s time to awake and arise.

Since the solar eclipse, Texas has flooded, and Tennessee looks like it’s flooding too. Now is the time to “know ye the Lord.” He desires to make you His, by teaching true principles, to know Him personally.

Wake up already!

OLD SCHOOL! (1236 Words)

The Facsimiles of Abraham has been scrutinized by archeologists for years, and the church education system seems to be swaying their way, denouncing Joseph Smith’s prophetic understanding. With correct knowledge, you are able to see through the deceptions, but in ignorance you will blow away with the wind. Only through diligently seeking can one acquire the necessary knowledge to obtain salvation and exaltation. Correct knowledge is OLD SCHOOL!

Mom’s last comment identified my understanding of “work in progress” as twisted. I respond by expressing a strait and narrow path is not necessarily straight (AKA: without twists and turns). It is the wisdom and knowledge, working together, that produces the kind of confidence that waxes strong in the sight of God. It was true since Adam, and it is true today. The problems that mankind faced anciently are no different than the problems we face today, when you look at the core of the problem. Adam faced what you must face. It is the same mess, and requires the same faith of the ancient of days. Therefore the wisdom and knowledge of the ancients is OLD SCHOOL!

The Facsimiles of Abraham has been scrutinized by archeologists for years, and the church education system seems to be swaying their way, denouncing Joseph Smith’s prophetic understanding of the facsimiles. I disagree with archeologists and CES on the validity of Joseph Smith, how he used the facsimiles, and the validity of the book of Abraham. Consider the reasoning: There are three ages of Egypt:

  1. Old Egypt,
  2. Middle Egypt,
  3. and Late Egypt.

Artifacts exist of Old Egypt, but they are rare. They are found in the pyramid texts. The common theme of Old Egypt is a “literal ascent,” …and a very real battle against Set, or Satan. Middle Egypt is much younger, and has a very different theme being taught in archeological findings of coffin texts, the book of the dead, and the book of breathings. Middle Egypt differs from the emphasis of Old Egypt (literal ascent), by emphasizing a “ritual ascent.” A ritual ascent is an ascension only symbolized in a ritual ceremony, rather than expectation of a literal ascent. Late Egypt dilutes the matter further, reducing the matter to a judgement after death, or “last rites” placed under the head of the dead, to chart their path in the afterlife. The facsimiles in the book of Abraham are Late Egypt drawings, but how they were applied by Joseph Smith deserves much greater observation by archeologists and CES directors alike.

Archeologists have been using the facsimiles in the book of Abraham to discredit Joseph Smith’s interpretations and translations for years. However, the book of Abraham wasn’t translated from the facsimiles, like archeologists have assumed. The Church Educational System is beginning to agree with the point of archeologists, recognizing that the facsimiles in Abraham don’t fit the time frame of the life of Abraham at all. Late Egypt happened during the time of Moses, which is calculated to be over 800 years after Abraham. CES is now questioning the validity of the book of Abraham, placing Joseph Smith’s imperfection as accountable for the mistake.

With correct knowledge, you are able to see through the deceptions, …while ignorance will blow you away in the wind. Many artifacts have been uncovered significantly after the death of Joseph Smith, justifying that the facsimiles were Late Egyptian. But Joseph never claimed them to be Old Egyptian (Pyramid texts). Alls that Joseph did was use the facsimiles of Late Egypt, to tell a story of Old Egypt. He used Middle Egypt ritual ascension to express Old Egyptian literal ascension. It all pointed to ascension through the heavens. That is Joseph Smith’s message. That is the message of the Book of Mormon too.

At the restoration, Joseph constantly preached ascension, calling and election made sure, exaltation and eternal life, coming into the presence of Christ and God while in the flesh. He taught it because he had done it, and could recognize the patterns in the Book of Mormon texts, even in Late Egyptian facsimiles. However, Mormonism has followed the same pattern, regarding their opinions on ascension. We have gone from teaching a literal ascension (Old Mormonism), to a ritual ascension (Middle Mormonism), and now a judgement day when we die (Late Mormonism). Hawaii, I believe, has followed the same pattern. Consider the Hula as Middle Hawaii, and our Haole Hula as Late Hawaiian. You gotta ask yourself, …what was Old Hawaii? What was Old Maori? What was Old Native American? What was old Scandinavian? What was old Chinese? Our ignorance has led us astray, and blowing in the wind of foolish traditions. It’s time to go OLD SCHOOL!

With correct knowledge of ascension, you are able to see through the deceptions of the world in the middle and late traditions. Ascension can only be acquired through diligently seeking the words of Christ, without being boxed in with false traditions of men, thinking in terms of the only true church, while excluding significant truths, only to maintain the status quo. All truth is circumscribed into one great whole, and that is Christ. Those who are of Christ’s church must receive ALL TRUTH! Not one iota of truth can be excluded. That’s OLD SCHOOL!

Conclusion: I am not a follower of men, and will never be. We were raised to follow good men, and I am grateful for that. It has allowed me to identify truth, when I hear it, …to collect and stand on that truth in faith. I no longer trust in the arm of flesh, but in God alone. Because of my stance on truth, many in this movement have considered me the devil and dark, because I will not conform to their rules, but would rather freely govern myself by true principles. I find comfort in the truth, despite the feeling of possibly not being part of this movement, and not being part of the LDS “true church” culture, leaving me to twiddle my thumbs all alone. It is my understanding that “the truth” gathers. I believe that the gathering of Israel is upon us.

This weekend the Lord offers a covenant to a people, through the Book of Mormon. Since the publishing of the Book of Mormon, there has never been a people, not even the LDS church, who have covenanted to be accountable to live by it’s teachings, and to be judged by it’s contents. Historically, the LDS have done so with the D&C, and then they have changed it’s contents, to justify their ignorance much later, falling into apostasy. I will be partaking of the Book of Mormon covenant this Sunday 3 Sept 2017, in Boise, Idaho. You can take that covenant too, right where you are, by accepting to live by and be judged by that document too. The common theme throughout the Book of Mormon is that if a people live according to it, they will prosper in the land. I wish that for you.

The spirit of gathering is not only stirring here, it is stirring everywhere. Zion is it’s centroid. Check out this youtube video of how Chinese characters teach the plan of salvation, and you will see an example of what’s happening all over the world right now. The Lord is working a mighty work and wonder about us right now. It’s amazing.
