OLD SCHOOL! (1236 Words)

The Facsimiles of Abraham has been scrutinized by archeologists for years, and the church education system seems to be swaying their way, denouncing Joseph Smith’s prophetic understanding. With correct knowledge, you are able to see through the deceptions, but in ignorance you will blow away with the wind. Only through diligently seeking can one acquire the necessary knowledge to obtain salvation and exaltation. Correct knowledge is OLD SCHOOL!

Mom’s last comment identified my understanding of “work in progress” as twisted. I respond by expressing a strait and narrow path is not necessarily straight (AKA: without twists and turns). It is the wisdom and knowledge, working together, that produces the kind of confidence that waxes strong in the sight of God. It was true since Adam, and it is true today. The problems that mankind faced anciently are no different than the problems we face today, when you look at the core of the problem. Adam faced what you must face. It is the same mess, and requires the same faith of the ancient of days. Therefore the wisdom and knowledge of the ancients is OLD SCHOOL!

The Facsimiles of Abraham has been scrutinized by archeologists for years, and the church education system seems to be swaying their way, denouncing Joseph Smith’s prophetic understanding of the facsimiles. I disagree with archeologists and CES on the validity of Joseph Smith, how he used the facsimiles, and the validity of the book of Abraham. Consider the reasoning: There are three ages of Egypt:

  1. Old Egypt,
  2. Middle Egypt,
  3. and Late Egypt.

Artifacts exist of Old Egypt, but they are rare. They are found in the pyramid texts. The common theme of Old Egypt is a “literal ascent,” …and a very real battle against Set, or Satan. Middle Egypt is much younger, and has a very different theme being taught in archeological findings of coffin texts, the book of the dead, and the book of breathings. Middle Egypt differs from the emphasis of Old Egypt (literal ascent), by emphasizing a “ritual ascent.” A ritual ascent is an ascension only symbolized in a ritual ceremony, rather than expectation of a literal ascent. Late Egypt dilutes the matter further, reducing the matter to a judgement after death, or “last rites” placed under the head of the dead, to chart their path in the afterlife. The facsimiles in the book of Abraham are Late Egypt drawings, but how they were applied by Joseph Smith deserves much greater observation by archeologists and CES directors alike.

Archeologists have been using the facsimiles in the book of Abraham to discredit Joseph Smith’s interpretations and translations for years. However, the book of Abraham wasn’t translated from the facsimiles, like archeologists have assumed. The Church Educational System is beginning to agree with the point of archeologists, recognizing that the facsimiles in Abraham don’t fit the time frame of the life of Abraham at all. Late Egypt happened during the time of Moses, which is calculated to be over 800 years after Abraham. CES is now questioning the validity of the book of Abraham, placing Joseph Smith’s imperfection as accountable for the mistake.

With correct knowledge, you are able to see through the deceptions, …while ignorance will blow you away in the wind. Many artifacts have been uncovered significantly after the death of Joseph Smith, justifying that the facsimiles were Late Egyptian. But Joseph never claimed them to be Old Egyptian (Pyramid texts). Alls that Joseph did was use the facsimiles of Late Egypt, to tell a story of Old Egypt. He used Middle Egypt ritual ascension to express Old Egyptian literal ascension. It all pointed to ascension through the heavens. That is Joseph Smith’s message. That is the message of the Book of Mormon too.

At the restoration, Joseph constantly preached ascension, calling and election made sure, exaltation and eternal life, coming into the presence of Christ and God while in the flesh. He taught it because he had done it, and could recognize the patterns in the Book of Mormon texts, even in Late Egyptian facsimiles. However, Mormonism has followed the same pattern, regarding their opinions on ascension. We have gone from teaching a literal ascension (Old Mormonism), to a ritual ascension (Middle Mormonism), and now a judgement day when we die (Late Mormonism). Hawaii, I believe, has followed the same pattern. Consider the Hula as Middle Hawaii, and our Haole Hula as Late Hawaiian. You gotta ask yourself, …what was Old Hawaii? What was Old Maori? What was Old Native American? What was old Scandinavian? What was old Chinese? Our ignorance has led us astray, and blowing in the wind of foolish traditions. It’s time to go OLD SCHOOL!

With correct knowledge of ascension, you are able to see through the deceptions of the world in the middle and late traditions. Ascension can only be acquired through diligently seeking the words of Christ, without being boxed in with false traditions of men, thinking in terms of the only true church, while excluding significant truths, only to maintain the status quo. All truth is circumscribed into one great whole, and that is Christ. Those who are of Christ’s church must receive ALL TRUTH! Not one iota of truth can be excluded. That’s OLD SCHOOL!

Conclusion: I am not a follower of men, and will never be. We were raised to follow good men, and I am grateful for that. It has allowed me to identify truth, when I hear it, …to collect and stand on that truth in faith. I no longer trust in the arm of flesh, but in God alone. Because of my stance on truth, many in this movement have considered me the devil and dark, because I will not conform to their rules, but would rather freely govern myself by true principles. I find comfort in the truth, despite the feeling of possibly not being part of this movement, and not being part of the LDS “true church” culture, leaving me to twiddle my thumbs all alone. It is my understanding that “the truth” gathers. I believe that the gathering of Israel is upon us.

This weekend the Lord offers a covenant to a people, through the Book of Mormon. Since the publishing of the Book of Mormon, there has never been a people, not even the LDS church, who have covenanted to be accountable to live by it’s teachings, and to be judged by it’s contents. Historically, the LDS have done so with the D&C, and then they have changed it’s contents, to justify their ignorance much later, falling into apostasy. I will be partaking of the Book of Mormon covenant this Sunday 3 Sept 2017, in Boise, Idaho. You can take that covenant too, right where you are, by accepting to live by and be judged by that document too. The common theme throughout the Book of Mormon is that if a people live according to it, they will prosper in the land. I wish that for you.

The spirit of gathering is not only stirring here, it is stirring everywhere. Zion is it’s centroid. Check out this youtube video of how Chinese characters teach the plan of salvation, and you will see an example of what’s happening all over the world right now. The Lord is working a mighty work and wonder about us right now. It’s amazing.

Certified Mormon! (1323 Words)

In the efforts to write a document that states governing principles, I have discovered what I think ought to be the minimum (…and only) requirements to be considered a Certified Mormon! The eclipse cutting through the United States of America, on Thomas S. Monson’s 90th birthday (tomorrow, Aug 21, 2017) symbolizes to me a sign in the heavens that represents the end of the day of the Gentiles. It is an indication of judgement as the moon cuts off the light of the sun. Although the movement I am involved in have theoretically drastically differing opinions, The Standard & Guide (outlined here) is what I will hold myself accountable to, before God, angels, and you witnesses. It is also a statement of unity for those who will minimally observe and keep them, with the potential to produce Zion: one heart, one mind, and no poor among them.

Explained: There are two portions: standard and guide. The standard alone is sufficient to produce a seed of unity. The guide gives a little more information of how things can be done, in this dispensation, to produce one heart and one mind, with no poor among us, …allowing all to be free of being ruled-over, being able to govern ourselves, willing to be held accountable for our own flaw and error if we fail to come to Christ. Read and consider the following:

STANDARD: We believe that every individual seeking to know God, through His son Jesus Christ, can be personally instructed by the Holy Spirit, to obtain greater light and truth. We believe that the words of Christ (past, present, and future) is the standard by which all followers of Christ should govern themselves. We relinquish any desire to have an institution, hierarchy, or strong-man lead us, being willing to be personally accountable to repent and turn to Christ, or answer for our own sins.

GUIDE: The following is a guide for the application of The Doctrine of Christ, Fellowships and Ordinances.

Faith is having an assurance of unseen things. To exercise faith is to act in alignment to correct belief. Faith is the principle motivation of action and power in both mortals and in God. Having faith in Jesus Christ is: to believe in Him, to learn of Him, and to act according to a correct understanding of Him. Exercising faith in Jesus Christ will gradually turn action into power, producing unwavering faith in Him.

Repentance requires correct knowledge of Jesus Christ. With correct knowledge, an individual is able to recognize and turn away from personal error, facing Christ instead. Light dispels darkness and sin is quickly forgiven. Ultimately, repentance leads to being redeemed from the fall, being brought back into Christ’s presence.

Baptism is required of all who believe in Jesus Christ and repent. Baptism must be performed by immersion, by one holding proper authority, and when possible, in living water such as a river, lake, stream, or sea. Our Lord gave the following instructions:

Behold, ye shall go down and stand in the water, and in my name shall ye baptize them. And now behold, these are the words which ye shall say, calling them by name, saying: “Having authority given me of Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.” And then shall ye immerse them in the water, and come forth again out of the water.

The Holy Ghost is the promised gift of the Father to those who have faith in His Son, repent and receive baptism. The Holy Ghost is a connection to God and will give you access to more light and truth through your heart and mind.

Believers are encouraged to freely gather together in fellowships to worship, partake of the Lord’s supper, and serve and strengthen one another. All are equal before God and everyone has value because of their unique gifts and abilities. Fellowships provide an environment for light and truth to be shared and experienced.

Tithes can be freely gathered individually or within each fellowship for the purpose of helping the poor among them. No one is to be paid for their participation in a fellowship. After the needs of the poor in the fellowship are met, excess funds can be donated to help with the temple.

Gospel ordinances, including baptism and the Lord’s Supper, require priesthood authority in the man performing them. To receive and exercise authority within his family, a man must be ordained by another man who has authority, and ask for and receive power directly from God. If the man wishes to provide priesthood ordinances outside his own family, he must also be approved (sustained) by at least seven women in a fellowship. If he is married, his wife must be one of the seven women who approve. The women should sign a certificate proving the man’s sustained authorization to provide ordinances in fellowships.

The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper consists of bread and wine and is offered to all who have been baptized. The bread should be broken into pieces by the man who is officiating, then all should kneel while the man says the following prayer, exactly as written:

O God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee in the name of thy Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this bread to the souls of all those who partake of it; that they may eat in remembrance of the body of thy Son, and witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they are willing to take upon them the name of thy Son, and always remember him, and keep his commandments which he hath given them, that they may always have his Spirit to be with them. Amen.

The blessing on the wine, also given by the man who is officiating while all kneel, should then be given exactly as follows:

O God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee, in the name of thy Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this wine to the souls of all those who drink of it, that they may do it in remembrance of the blood of thy Son, which was shed for them; that they may witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they do always remember him, that they may have his Spirit to be with them. Amen.

The officiator and all who are participating should then eat the bread and drink the wine.

Marriage is between one man and one woman only, to reflect the image of God. Marriage is a required sacrament for the exaltation of both the man and woman. Marriages that are sealed by the Lord’s oath in a sacred place, will endure beyond death and into the Father’s Kingdom.

Those who are married according to their local laws, traditions or customs, should seek to have their marriage sealed by the Lord’s word. To prepare for this event, women and men should seek to emulate the Savior’s teachings in their marriage and their treatment of each other.

Conclusion: What I have written above is a fundamentally simple statement, upon which all who claim to be followers of Christ (anciently called followers of “The Way”) can come to mutual agreement and find unity, without constricting individual worth and expression through over regulation. As all truth is circumscribed into one great whole, this statement reflects the importance of accumulating all truth, to allow the truth to shape us, rather than reshaping the truth to fit our limitations, foolish understandings, and our desire to control one another. By this standard, salvation requires nothing less than all truth, including the mysteries of God, in full. This statement is my declaration of how I choose to live my life, and by what standard I expect to be judged. Any who can live this way, I believe, ought to be considered in every way a Certified Mormon!

Prerequisite Knowledge (801 Words)

Entrance into Zion requires Prerequisite Knowledge. Chastening has everything to do with it. Only those who love God, love God’s chastening.

I know, I know, I know, …Who died and made you God’s spokesman. Relax! I have never offered you any kind of recommend for professing me as a prophet, seer, and revelator. All I have ever done is quote scriptures, in correct context, and expected myself to be held accountable to the very same scripture as all of you. The only difference between us in the past has been, I have  made a serious effort to study them, and few of you have even taken the time to read them at all. Now, don’t get all offended and act like I am standing on a soap-box, holding myself above you, as if I am the big man, and you the little man. Truth is, once we can all take a serious effort to study, you’ll quickly learn how little we have been taught about the gospel of Christ, despite the decades of our collective memberships. And the sooner we take a team effort to acquire the missing knowledge, the sooner we can be redeemed of our ignorance, together! We must recognize that Zion requires Prerequisite Knowledge.

In D&C 95, the Lord declared that He chastens those in whom He loves. In His chastening, He offers an escape route. We ought not to fear the chastening of the words of the Lord, otherwise we will reject our escape route.

D&C 95:1

“1. Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you whom I love, and whom I love I also chasten that their sins may be forgiven, for with the chastisement I prepare a way for their deliverance in all things out of temptation, and I have loved you—”

Only those who love God, love God’s chastening. They will receive it with glad hearts and with good cheer, recognizing that in the chastening, we are being redeemed from the fall. Eternal Life was only found through knowing God and Christ, and how better to know them than by constantly being chastened, until our mind and will is precisely their mind and will, and when they appear we will know them, because we will be like them.

D&C 105:1-6

“1. Verily I say unto you who have assembled yourselves together that you may learn my will concerning the redemption of mine afflicted people—

2. Behold, I say unto you, were it not for the transgressions of my people, speaking concerning the church and not individuals, they might have been redeemed even now.

3. But behold, they have not learned to be obedient to the things which I required at their hands, but are full of all manner of evil, and do not impart of their substance, as becometh saints, to the poor and afflicted among them;

4. And are not united according to the union required by the law of the celestial kingdom;

5. And Zion cannot be built up unless it is by the principlesof the law of the celestial kingdom; otherwise I cannot receive her unto myself.

6. And my people must needs be chastened until they learn obedience, if it must needs be, by the things which they suffer.”

Hawaiians, lets drink from the gentle waters, available to us now, before the floods come. We must recognize that the early saints failed. They did not succeed, otherwise they would have been “…redeemed even now.” Let’s not repeat their mistakes, and take the words of Christ lightly. We must be “…united according to the union required by the law of the celestial kingdom…” and nothing less. Zion cannot be built without the “…principles of the law of the celestial kingdom…” The celestial law is not optional for Zion, it is Prerequisite Knowledge.

Conclusion: My Ohana, you have seen my efforts as everything but correct, and that is fine. But don’t disregard the words of Christ. I have quoted them, in context, and I expect to be held to the very same rule. Yasmine asked me the other day, “If God said to go back to church, would you?” I would! But if God were to tell you that the LDS church has gone astray and fallen into complete apostasy, I ask you, “Would you believe it?”

I don’t care how you spend three hours of your sabbath, wether in the LDS church, serving, or observing the heavens on the beach, for a greater understanding of God’s patterns. That’s your choice. What matters to me is that we don’t take the necessary Prerequisite Knowledge, found in the words of Christ, lightly, as did the early saints. What matters to me is that we are ONE! Lokahi is the effort towards oneness, and that is what I desire to be with you.

We all have value, and I need you. No rush, …but HURRY UP ALREADY!

The Law (1244 Words)

In response to Mom’s latest post, the law has value, when men are ignorant, but must be abandoned when they come unto Christ. She used the following scripture to argue against my last post that “the law” has value, and I would agree. But the bigger picture is ignored, that our responsibility was to come unto Christ, through His principles, which is His mind and will, …and then the law has little use for us. Here is the scripture she quoted:

D&C 58:20-22

“20. Let no man think he is ruler; but let God rule him that judgeth, according to the counsel of his own will, or, in other words, him that counseleth or sitteth upon the judgment seat.

21. Let no man break the laws of the land, for he that keepeth the laws of God hath NO NEED TO BREAK THE LAWS OF THE LAND.

22. Wherefore, be subject to the powers that be, UNTIL he reigns whose right it is to reign, and subdues all enemies under his feet.

In wickedness the law is the lowest form of governance, to maintain a form of peace and protection. The constitution of the united states, although inspired of God, was intended only to provide those on the promised land “righteousness.” And when righteousness abounds, the true ruler of all can lead the people into “more righteousness.” In righteousness, the law is meaningless, because living in righteousness proposes no threat to the laws of the land, but adds greater value “within” the law. When righteousness is in the hearts of the people of the promised land, the constitution is no longer useful, …and is dead, …and must be abandoned.  That is why the saying goes, “You can’t regulate an honest man.” An honest man regulates himself, and he doesn’t depend on the law of the land to reign himself in.

The early saints sought to establish Zion, but failed to do it because of jarrings, strifes contentions, malice, etc. They were unable to establish righteousness, and failed at their attempt to be one. They could not endure God’s chastening, to be sanctified by Him, to prove that they would not only accept the covenant, …but that they would also keep it (D&C 101:1-6). They fell apart because they could not live God’s PRINCIPLES. For this reason, the Lord “SUFFERED” the early saints to live the laws and constitution of the people, so that at least they were able to maintain the rights of their agency and all men were protected as to the flesh, according to “just” and “holy” PRINCIPLES.

D&C 101:76-79

“76. And again I say unto you, those who have been scattered by their enemies, it is my will that they should continue to importune for redress, and redemption, by the hands of those who are placed as rulers and are in authority over you—

77. According to the laws and constitution of the people, which I have “suffered” to be established, and should be maintained for the rights and protection of all flesh, according to just and holy principles;

78. That every man may act in doctrine and principle pertaining to futurity, according to the moral agency which I have given unto him, that every man may be accountable for his own sins in the day of judgment.

79. Therefore, it is not right that any man should be in bondage one to another.”

So, if you want to claim being governed by the laws of the land, or in other words the laws of men, …that is your choice! However, it is not the only choice available. There is a covenant, that if you accept and keep it, God gives you land for your inheritance. But it necessitates that you keep unspotted from the world, and remember His principles to understand His mind and will. Those who will do that, will inherit the earth, that she will offer up a multiplicity of abundance:

D&C 59:16-20

“16. Verily I say, that inasmuch as ye do this, the fulness of the earth is yours, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and that which climbeth upon the trees and walketh upon the earth;

17. Yea, and the herb, and the good things which come of the earth, whether for food or for raiment, or for houses, or for barns, or for orchards, or for gardens, or for vineyards;

18. Yea, all things which come of the earth, in the season thereof, are made for the benefit and the use of man, both to please the eye and to gladden the heart;

19. Yea, for food and for raiment, for taste and for smell, to strengthen the body and to enliven the soul.

20. And it pleaseth God that he hath given all these things unto man; for unto this end were they made to be used, with judgment, not to excess, neither by extortion.”

If you want to claim the laws of the land, go right ahead. Don’t let me stand in your way. But, living by that law, and failing to understand the principles behind it, will cause your suffering. The constitution, at its origination, was founded upon righteous principles, and you could gain much by understanding and living those righteous principles. However, the constitution is currently “on-the-ropes” and “down-for-the-count,” and it’s principles are generating plagues, famines, and pestilences. So if that is what you want for your reward, I’ll leave you to it. However, if you would “consider” for a moment what I am offering, the covenant, and it’s promised blessings, you might want to consider a different approach. A PRINCIPLE APPROACH!

Conclusion: We must not break the laws of the land, but using the laws of the land as an excuse to not rise-up is a LAME excuse for not rising-up! Lucky for you, Christ healed the lame, so He can heal you too. The covenant will work, even within the laws of the land, as they are PRINCIPLE-CENTERED, and not merely circumstantial. The laws of the land cannot regulate PRINCIPLE. Man cannot control PRINCIPLE. The scriptures offer PRINCIPLE. They are applicable in all dispensations before this one, and can be applied in this one just the same. That is how God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, by principles.

Free yourself from your PRIDE by considering what I am saying. Put aside your traditions from the LDS church, or any other institution you have been subscribing to for years (banking, academic, government, social, etc). Putting those traditions aside for a short time, to consider another perspective, will not threaten your standing in those institutions. No one will know that you’ve considered it. It will be between you and God alone. I don’t even care if I didn’t know that you considered what I said. But, if you are HUMBLE, then you would consider any and all messages that claim to be of God. I claim this message to be of God.

The Holy Ghost will bring all things to your remembrance “IF” you have been taught of Christ. If not, you will have no remembrance. You must submit to God’s mind and will first. And by the power of the Holy Ghost you can know the truth of all things. But, when you ask, you are required to ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, acting no hypocrisy. You must follow the example of Joseph Smith, who asked to know the truth SO THAT HE COULD ACT UPON IT.

I recommend you do the same. Don’t be LAME!

No Substitute (1305 Words)

When considering the options, it’s obvious that there’s No Substitute for the TRUTH!

The words of Christ, as a covenant, has been weighing heavily on my mind lately. My interests in the covenant is it’s ability to produce oneness, even among the weakest of us. Considering these options, it’s obvious to me that there is No Substitute.

Scripture Project: The words of Christ, as a covenant, has been weighing heavily on my mind lately. I have been studying them for the purpose of confidently making a covenant, that I will hold myself to be judged by. The project is to restore the scriptures to it’s original record (at the time of the restoration), to establish a “common-law” that will unite a few who choose to accept to live it. The option was given for all of us to suggest deletions,  recommend insertions, make edits, and suggest new revelation to be included, to preserve the restoration. I feel inadequate to make any changes, as I don’t know the original content. However, I feel confident in one aspect: I know that I can find oneness with anyone who chooses to abide by it’s precepts as their central law. My heart is in full trust of the covenant. All that remains to be accomplished is the work of writing the words upon our hearts, and that will unite both hearts and minds of all who do the same.

Oneness & The Covenant: My interests in the covenant is it’s ability to produce oneness, even among the weakest of us, ultimately producing Zion. Because of their pride, the early saints failed in three specific areas (D&C 1:15-16):

  1. They strayed from the ordinances
  2. They broke the everlasting covenant
  3. They sought not the Lord to establish His righteousness

Baptism and sacrament have been restored to it’s proper order, with baptism done by the “authority given of Jesus Christ,” and the sacrament being done with wine instead of water, symbolic of the atoning sacrifice of Christ. The repentance of these two ordinances, repairs the first failure of the early saints. The scripture project has the potential of repairing the second failure of breaking the everlasting covenant, as some will actually accept the everlasting covenant of the Book of Mormon, and the other commandments as their central law. The third will be the most difficult to repair, which is to not only say, but to do according to the law, thus establishing the righteousness of the Lord.

When we submit to this process of living the covenant, we are promised by the Lord that the Lord will progress us as follows (D&C 1:20-29):

  • Faith will increase in the earth
  • The everlasting covenant will be established (the fullness)
  • When the people make mistakes, it will be made known (Truth)
  • When the people seek wisdom, they’ll be instructed
  • When the people sin, they’ll be chastened, so that they repent (whereas, today, we are not being chastened by the Lord, and are left to learn from sad experience)
  • When the people are humble, they’ll be made strong, and be blessed from on high, and receive knowledge from time to time

The Lord provides a quick overview of how it all comes together.

D&C 1:30

30. And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually.”

No Substitute: Considering the process outlined in Section 1, by the Lord, to fulfill the covenant, …it’s obvious to me that there is no other way, …there is No Substitute. The drawing above depicts a choice.

If the scriptures are central, the promises are fulfilled. However, failure to have the scriptures central is substituted by a testimony that “…The Church is True.” When you bear testimony that the church is true, there’s no need to search the scriptures. The testimony alone seems sufficient.

When the scriptures are written upon your heart, you are prepared to properly discern the voice of the Lord, in the words of a servant of the Lord (one who’s been in the presence of the Lord). Those unable to discern the voice of the Lord, from a messenger coming from the Lord’s presence, will substitute the need to recognize the messenger’s voice with their temple recommends. They’ll be satisfied that they have all that is necessary for the after life, and that all they must do is “…Endure to the End.

Anyone who has received the words of Christ, and received His servant, they are now prepared to enter into His presence in the flesh. They can be redeemed from the fall, and brought back into Christ’s presence (Ether 3:13). However, those who have refused to write the words of Christ upon their hearts, and have rejected a true servant of the Lord (delivering Christ’s message), …they will not be redeemed, and will not enter His presence, while they are in the flesh. They will remain fallen, and cast-out of Zion and the kingdom of God. In this condition, they will be satisfied to follow the prophet instead of seeking the face of the Lord. They will profess, “…All is Well in Zion!

Conclusion: There is no other way. As a member of the LDS church, knowing that the church was true stopped me from caring what was in the scriptures, since we owned a set. However, once I sought to know the scriptures, I knew that the gospel within the scriptures were true, and not the church.

I was endowed in the LDS temple at nineteen years old, preparatory to serving a full-time mission. I was the first of us to marry in the temple, and was proud of that fact. I was convinced that, while nobodies perfect, all we needed to do is keep trying, and endure to the end, and we were promised to be sealed for time and all eternity. My temple recommend was symbolic of maintaining good standing, preparatory to entering the celestial kingdom. However, when I came to hear the voice of one who stood in the presence of both God the Father and His Son, just as Joseph Smith, Abraham, and Adam had, I was able to discern the voice of the Lord in his words, and have had my eyes opened with greater clarity of the scriptures than has ever been understood from attending the LDS temple.

I was taught to bear testimony that the prophet was a prophet, and that by doing so, I would have a testimony that it was so. However, when it came time to not only say, but to do, I found that the LDS prophet offered nothing but darkness when I had nothing to grasp onto, and my family was being torn from my fingers. It was my testimony of Christ alone that has secured my marriage, and will prove to secure my children, and can prove to secure you, exactly the same way.

I was required to exercise faith by trusting in the words of Christ, instead of the church. I exercised great faith and was able to recognize a servant of the Lord, …finding stability when my temple recommend was revoked, and my wife and I cast-out of church. I now have a personal relationship with Christ, and that has produced even greater faith. We are now willing to endure all things, to hold fast to what we now know. Those who uphold the church, the temple, and the prophet, will reject the word, the servant, and Christ Himself. Consider your past choices, recognize that what the church offers will Never Substitute the promised blessings of heaven. Then, awake and arise. Repent, and lets make the covenant together.

Part 1: Rob’s Starting His Own Church? (647 Words)

I keep hearing the rumor that Rob’s Starting His Own Church. That would be news to me, …because I’m Rob. So just in case there’s a question, I’d like to express a few thoughts about governing yourselves, that might clear up your concerns about me starting my own church.

The Church of God, from the beginning, were those who would live by the covenant found in the words of Christ. By living by the covenant of the Book of Mormon, and the other commandments, there could be established, once again, a covenant people whose language was preserved. That covenant people would be given a land of inheritance. Upon that land of inheritance can be built a temple, so that what is done in heaven is also done on earth. At the beginning of each dispensation was a covenant, to preserve the language of the people. And when the people responded, the covenant keeping people were given a land of inheritance, as God promised to His people.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints was originally established upon the foundation of “the Book of Mormon, and the other commandments.” However, less than two years after the church was established, those gentiles had already suffered condemnation. The church was established on 6 April 1830, and in a year and a half, this revelation was given:

D&C 84:54-57

“54. And your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief, and because you have treated lightly the things you have received—

55. Which vanity and unbelief have brought the whole church under condemnation.

56. And this condemnation resteth upon the children of Zion, even all.

57. And they shall remain under this condemnation until they repent and remember the new covenant, even the Book of Mormon and the former commandments which I have given them, not only to say, but to do according to that which I have written—”

The whole Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints suffered the condemnation of the Lord in 1832, and that condemnation was reiterated in a 1986 General Conference by Ezra T. Benson. My recent experience of being cast-out is proof that the church has not reversed the condemnation through repentance, and the condemnation of 1832 is still in full force right now. Since Joseph and Hyrum Smith were killed, the scriptures have been added to, large chunks omitted, pertinent information removed, and many scriptures were manipulated by the hands of men, making that record unable to bind the hearts and minds of men, for them to be one in Zion. It is the failure of the saints to maintain a pure record, and keep the covenant (that was originally offered) that stops the establishment of Zion in these latter-days.

The words of Christ is not my words, they belong to Christ. Therefore, if there is a group of people who are united by the power of those words, they necessarily belong to Christ’s church. I follow the words of Christ with great effort, and meticulous detail, to qualify to be united with that people. But, because I take the scriptures seriously, you have accused me that my actions have caused me to be cast-out. And you think that it is clear evidence that I’m starting my own church. The city of Enoch was founded upon scripture. Melchizedek’s city was also founded on scripture. Am I starting my own church? Are you CRAZY?

Conclusion: While I’m not starting my own church, I will meet together oft to talk of Christ, preach of Christ, prophesy of Christ, and partake of the sacrament, and be numbered among those who have kept the covenant of the Book of Mormon and the other commandments that God has given. In your ignorance, you have misjudged me, thinking that I’m starting my own church. I forgive you, and invite you to repent by searching diligently the words of Christ, not only to say, but to do accordingly.

Dispensation of the Fulness of Times (1328)

Adam sought to bless his people, by bringing them into the presence of Christ in Adam-ondi-ahman. Moses and others tried to do the same, but failed. The Dispensation of the Fulness of Times is identified by obtaining the presence of the Lord once again.

Adam sought to bless those who would be his sons and daughters, through the gospel and priesthood of God. To be blessed is to have conferred upon or invoke “divine favor.” Those who are favored of God are brought back into the presence of God, to be judged, and be made clean to remain in His presence. Someone with this blessing “always has his spirit to be with them,” as the sacrament prayer petitions heaven for. John the Beloved identifies it as making their “abode” with you:

John 14:21-23

21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Joseph Smith said:

“This is why Adam blessed his posterity; he wanted to bring them into the presence of God. They looked for a city, etc., “whose builder and maker is God.” (Heb 11:10.)”

Adam did the work and brought his family back into the presence of Christ in Adam-ondi-ahman. Adam-ondi-ahman literally means “Adam, in the presence of Son Ahman” or “Adam, in the presence of the Son of God the Father.” We have been taught by traditions that the location of Zion will be in Missouri. Some have speculated that it will begin at the location called Adam-ondi-ahman. Truth is, only God knows where Zion will be established. God is the maker and the builder of Zion. Wherever Christ appears to Zion will be Adam-ondi-ahman, where Adam (or sons/daughters of Adam considering themselves Adam) return into the presence of Son Ahman, Christ.  This is huge! That work is upon us NOW!

Since Adam, few have belonged to Zion. Enoch and Melchizedek established Zion, became God’s people, and was required to be taken up, or those who fought against them would have been utterly waisted. God allows the wicked to kill the wicked. He allows the wicked to kill the righteous. But God will never allow the wicked to kill Zion, because Zion is His government on the earth. In the past, He has taken Zion up. But in the future, the Zion in heaven will return to join the Zion on earth, preparatory to the earth’s transformation to it’s paradisiacal glory. Many have been called, but only few have been chosen. Joseph Smith reports the failure of Moses and other Eliases to establish a Zion people:

“Moses sought to bring the children of Isreal into the presence of God, through the power of the Priesthood, but he could not. In the first ages of the world they tried to establish the same thing; and there are Eliases raised up who tried to restore these very glories, but did not obtain them; but they prophesied of a day when this glory  would be revealed.

Moses and other Eliases tried to restore men to Christ’s presence, but their people would not look to Christ and live, and their people were left to wander the wilderness fighting with one another, in bondage and captivity, enslaved to foreigners. We are precisely in the same position, having not been brought back into the presence of Christ, wandering about, in bondage and captivity, enslaved to foreigners. The ancient covenant fathers who weren’t able to provide their people the presence of the Lord grieved, not being able to do so. They were comforted in their grief by the Lord declaring the latter day Zion.

Every people belonging to Zion had similar experiences. A wild man came among them, teaching doctrines of Christ that seemed foreign, centered around returning to the presence of Christ in the flesh. Although the message sounded wild at first, …that didn’t stop them from asking God if it was true, with a sincere heart, and real intent, to know for themselves. When they learned that it was true, they repented and became Zion. All ancient covenant fathers looked forward to this day, when the Zion in heaven reunited with the Zion on earth, and called it The Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. Joseph Smith wrote:

“Paul spoke of The Dispensation of the Fulness of Times, when God would gather together all things in one, etc.; and those men to whom these keys have been given, will have to be there; and they without us cannot be made perfect.”

The LDS church claims to have those keys, and claims their dispensation as The Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. Yet, when you discuss returning into the presence of the Lord, they reject the necessity for that to occur, and cast out those who claim to believe this way. They claim that temples offer saving ordinances, and revoke entry for not giving your tithes to them, so that they can use it to build more church buildings, more temples, more shopping malls, cultural centers, and business holdings to fatten their bellies, while the poor suck wind! They use their keys to turn men to them, to worship the key holders as idols and graven images. With them holding the keys, you must be a “key-hole” and do whatever they say, or loose salvation.

Where is the presence of Christ offered? Where are those who have Christ’s abode? Who knows the Lord personally, face-to-face? Then where are the keys that you jangle around like cracking a whip, threatening excommunication and damnation. I stand in opposition to those keys!

Conclusion: Nephi identified Gentiles (1 Nephi 13) as the early settlers of America, and the early saints involved in the restoration. They are identified as:

  • They are the source of the great and abominable church (v4)
  • They were separated from Nephi’s descendants (Lehi’s descendants) by “many waters” (v10)
  • The Gentiles went forth out of captivity and crossed the waters to come to the land of promise (v13-14)
  • The Gentiles scattered and smote the remnants of Nephi’s seed, but did not utterly destroy them (v14, 30)
  • The Gentiles were prosperous, white, fair and beautiful (v15)
  • They humbled themselves (Early America) on the land of promise (v16)
  • They were delivered by the power of God from all other nations (v19)
  • They had the Bible, though it was in a very corrupt state and actually prevented salvation and became a stumbling block to them (v24-29)

All describe the founders of America, and the founders of the church, as coming from Gentile nations. In short, the “Gentiles” refers to the primarily white, European immigrants who came to America and displaced the Native Americans, Polynesians, and Latin Americans. That is how Nephi sees the vast majority of LDS people on this continent, who are not either Jew or Remnant. Christ prophesied that the Gentiles would reject the fulness, which is the presence of the Lord in the flesh. When the day of the Gentile has ended, it must come to YOU, O’ House of Israel.

In “THAT DAY,” it will be your preparation in the promises made to the fathers that will prove you, identifying the master you choose to serve. Plant the words of Christ in your hearts. Recognize the prophesies that are just ahead being fulfilled, of the gathering of Israel into Zion. Do not procrastinate this work because I sound like a wild man. Hear the voice of the Lord, and know the truth by the Holy Ghost. When Zion is built by God, then is the beginning of The Dispensation of the Fulness of Times.
